Banzel (Generic name: Rufinamide, also called Inovelon) is an approved antiepileptic drug (AED) for the adjunctive treatment of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) in adults and children 4 years and older. LGS is a severe form of childhood epilepsy that causes developmental and behaviour problems. The most common Banzel side effects include dizziness, fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach pain, and vomiting.
