Exelon (Generic name: Rivastigmine) is cholinesterase inhibitor used to treat mild to moderate dementia caused by Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease. Exelon side effects include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration (losing too much fluid), loss of appetite, dizziness or spinning sensation (vertigo), headache, anorexia, depression, insomnia, abdominal pain, asthenia, anxiety, restlessness, fatigue, or application site reactions (erythma, pruritus, odema).
