Intelence (Generic name: Etravirine) is a drug used to treat HIV, which causes an acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). The active ingredient in Intelence, etravirine, is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). It blocks the enzymatic function and prevents HIV from multiplying.
