Adcirca Information:
Adcirca (tadalafil) is used to treat
pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and improve exercise capacity in men and women. Adcirca works by inhibiting certain enzymes in the heart that normally cause muscles to constrict. By blocking the enzymes, the pulmonary muscles and blood vessels are able to relax and widen, and blood flow increases to certain body parts.
Adcirca Precautions:
To make sure Adcirca is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had any issues with you heart, liver, or kidneys, any vision problems, issues with blood circulation, blood cell diseases, or high or low blood pressure. Do not start or stop taking Adcirca without your doctors’ advice. PAH during pregnancy can harm the mother and the baby, and your dose may need to chance. Tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant. Do not breastfeed while using Adcirca. Avoid drinking alcohol while using Adcirca. Stop this medication and seek emergency medical attention if you experience any serious side effects, signs of a heart attack, or signs of an allergic reaction.
