Advair Information:

Advair (Generic name: Fluticasone and Salmeterol, also known as “Seretide Accuhaler”) is an oral inhaler used to prevent asthma attacks and treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Seretide Accuhaler (Advair Diskus) contains two types of asthma medications. One is Fluticasone Propionate, a steroid that reduces inflammation in the lungs. The other, Salmeterol Xinafoate, is a long-acting bronchodilator that opens up the airways. Together, the two ingredients provide better control of asthma than either does individually. Advair Discus helps prevent asthma symptoms from occurring in the first place. Advair Diskus 250/50 is clinically proven to significantly improve lung function for better breathing. Use Advair inhaler exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Advair Side Effects:

The most common Advair side effects include bronchitis, coughing, diarrhea, headache, nausea, vomiting, and throat irritation. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as fever, uneven heart beats, blurred vision, hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of lips, tongue or throat, or worsening asthma symptoms, please inform your doctor immediately.
