AeroChamber Inhaler Spacer Device Information
AeroChamber Inhaler Spacer Device is used to improve the use of your inhaler and ensure efficient drug delivery. Inhaler spacers like Aerochamber Inhaler Spacer Device work by creating space between your mouth and the medicine, breaking the drug into smaller droplets. These droplets can then move deeper into your lungs when you breathe.

Use this device exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Before using the device, remove the caps on the inhaler and spacer chamber. The spacer device may come with a mask or mouthpiece. If you use the mask, place it over your nose and mouth to ensure a good seal. If you use the mouthpiece, ensure its tip goes between your teeth, and wrap your lips tightly around it to provide a good seal. Breathe out completely before administering your medicine. Press firmly on the canister to release your medication into the spacer chamber. Hold the mask in place and take in at least six breaths. If you use the mouthpiece, hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds after inhaling the medication before breathing out slowly. Some spacers will make a horn-like sound if you breathe too quickly. This means you need to slow down on your next breath. Remove the device after completing your dose. Replace the caps on the inhaler and spacer device. If your inhaler medication contains a steroid, wipe your face with soap and water to remove residual medication. Rinse your mouth with water or mouthwash. You may need to clean your inhaler spacer if you do not use it often. Let it air dry and store it in a clean, dry place when it is not in use. Keep it out of the reach of children.
