Uceris Information
Uceris is a prescription medication used to treat and prevent certain bowel conditions such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Budesonide does not cure these conditions but it may decrease symptoms such as pain and diarrhea. Budesonide is known as an anti-inflammatory drug and belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroid hormone drug. This medication works by reducing the level of inflammation, redness and swelling in the colon. Take this medication as directed by your doctor.
