Coversyl Information
Coversyl (Perindopril) is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure reduces the risk of complications like strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. The drug is also used to treat heart failure and to reduce the risk of cardiac events like heart attack in people with coronary heart disease. The active ingredient in Coversyl is Perindopril. Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors like Perindopril work by relaxing the blood vessels so that blood passes through them more easily, lowering blood pressure.
