Do NOT take Effexor if you are allergic to Venlafaxine or any of the ingredients in Effexor medication. They may interact with Effexor XR drug, especially of: MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, tranylcypromine), NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs e.g., ibuprofen, naproxen, ketoprofen), SSRIs (e.g., escitalopram, paroxetine, fluvoxamine), triptans (e.g., sumatriptan, rizatriptan) and SNRIs (e.g., duloxetine, venlafaxine) and warfarin. Consult with your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Effexor XR is NOT approved for use in pediatric patients.
