Komboglyze Information
Komboglyze (Saxagliptin/Metformin) is used to control blood sugar. Hyperglycemia, also known as high blood sugar, can occur due to a sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, stress, and hormonal changes. Certain medications can also increase blood sugar levels. The active ingredients in Komboglyze are Saxagliptin and Metformin. DPP-4 inhibitors like Saxagliptin work by increasing the amount of incretin, a hormone that raises insulin levels when blood sugar is high and decreases the amount of sugar made by the body released by the intestine. Hypoglycemics like metformin work by stimulating the pancreas to produce insulin.
