Mavik and Equivalent
Generic Equivalent of Mavik
Mavik Information
Mavik (Trandolapril) is used to treat mild-to-moderate high blood pressure. High blood pressure occurs when the force of the blood pushing through your vessels is too high. This condition often has no symptoms and may lead to complications like strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. The drug is also used to treat heart failure and to help heart function after a heart attack. The active ingredient in Mavik is Trandolapril. Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors like Trandolapril work by decreasing certain chemicals that tighten the blood vessels so blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
