Prestalia Information

Prestalia (Perindopril Arginine/Amlodipine Besylate) is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure is essential to prevent health complications like heart attacks, stroke, and kidney problems. High blood pressure occurs when the force of the blood pushing against the artery walls is too high. This makes the heart work harder to pump blood. Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors like Perindopril Arginine widen the blood vessels and prevent the body from retaining water. Calcium channel blockers like Amlodipine Besvlate relax the blood vessels so the heart does not have to pump hard, lowering blood pressure.

Prestalia Side Effects

The most common side effects of Prestalia may include dizziness, headache, and cough. Call your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects, such as:
• Lightheadedness;
• Little or no urinating;
• New or worsening chest pain;
• Rapid weight gain;
• Signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, breathing difficulties, or itching or swelling of the face, tongue, or throat
