Procoralan (Generic name: Ivabradine) is an EMEA approved prescription medication used for the treatment of symptoms of long-term stable angina (chest pain) in patients aged 18 years or over. Procoralan contains an active ingredient Ivabradine, which is a type of medicine called selective and specific inhibitor to slow the heart rate. Procoralan provides an alternative treatment for patients who cannot take or tolerate beta-blockers (a type of angina drug), and patients whose heart rate is above 60 beats per minute.
