Resotran Information
Resolor (Generic name: Prucalopride, also known as Restoran or Resotran) is a prescription medication used to treat chronic constipation in women. It is only used when laxatives do not provide adequate relief. Resolor may also be used in terminally patients to treat constipations and faecal impaction. Resolor contains the active ingredient Prucalopride Succinate. Prucalopride belongs to a class of medications called serotonin (or 5HT) agonists. It works by activating certain types of chemical receptors in the bowel to improve bowel functions and relieve constipation. Use Resolor exactly as it was prescribed for you.
Resotran Side Effects
The most common Resolor side effects are abnormal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, nausea, and vomiting. If you are experiencing any severe side effects including fever, irregular heartbeat, loss of appetite, tremor, or a sign of serious allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing; itching; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.
Resotran Precautions
Do NOT use Resolor if you are allergic to Prucalopride or any of the ingredients in Resolor medication, or you are wearing contact lenses. Before using Resolor, tell your doctor if you have had any medical conditions, such as AIDs, cancer, elderly people, gastrointestinal problems, heart disease, kidney or liver disease, lung disease, psychiatric problems, and etc. Tell your doctor about all the prescription drugs you are taking, especially of: contraceptive pills. They may interact with Resolor drug. Resolor is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
