Risperdal M-TAB Information:

Risperdal M-Tab (Generic name: Risperidone oral disintegrating tablet) is an antipsychotic medication is used for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults and adolescents ages 13-17 years. Risperdal M-Tab is used alone or combination with other medicines (lithium or valproate) for the short-term treatment of bipolar mania in adults, children and adolescents ages 10-17 years. Risperdal M-Tab is also used for the treatment of irritability associated with autistic disorder in children and adolescents ages 5-16 years. Risperidone is known as an atypical antipsychotic medicine that works by helping to restore the balance of certain natural chemicals (neurotransmitters) in the brain.

Risperdal is available in a variety of forms including: Risperdal tablets, Risperdal M-Tab, and Risperdal Oral Solution. Take Risperidone exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Risperdal M-TAB Side Effects:

The most common Risperdal M-Tab side effects are abnormal pain, blurred vision, constipation, difficult sleeping, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, impotence, nasal congestion, nausea, and weight gain. Risperdal M-Tab medicine is not for use in psychotic conditions that are related to dementia.
