Urocit K Information
Urocit K (Potassium Citrate) treats kidney stones (calcium oxalate and uric acid stones). Kidney stones are hard deposits of minerals and salts inside your kidneys. Causes of kidney stones include diet, excess body weight, some medical conditions, and certain medications. Kidney stones can affect any part of your urinary tract, from your kidneys to your bladder. Urocit K also helps manage certain metabolic conditions that cause acidic urine. Acidic urine may occur from the kidneys excreting more acid, diarrhea, a high protein diet, or dehydration. Urinary alkalinizers like Potassium citrate work by increasing urine pH, making it less acidic.
