Vetoryl Information
Vetoryl (Trilostane) is used to treat pituitary-dependent and adrenal-dependent hyperadrenocorticism in dogs. Hyperadrenocorticism, or Cushing’s syndrome is a condition where the body produces too much cortisol. Characteristic signs of this disease include frequent urination, excessive drinking, pot belly, thin skin, hair loss, excessive panting, and lethargy. Steroidogenesis inhibitors like Trilostane inhibit the production of cortisol in the adrenal cortex. Vetoryl is not a cure for Cushing’s disease, but it helps manage it and improve your pet’s quality of life.
Vetoryl Side Effects
