Corlanor (Ivabridine) is used in adults with chronic heart failure, to help lower the risk of hospitalization due to serious symptoms. It is also used in children that have heart failure due to an enlarged heart. Corlanor is a hyperpolarization-activated cyclic-nucleotide-gated (HCN) channel blocker that works by affecting your heart’s electrical activity in order to slow the heart rate. While taking Corlanor, you may experience side effects including blurred vision, chest pain, dizziness, fainting, headache, shortness of breath, or a slow or irregular heartbeat. If these side effects worsen or persist, please consult your doctor. If you experience any serious side effects, seek medical attention immediately. Take this medication as directed by your doctor. Please check out the product information leaflet for other possible side effects and precautions.
