Qvar Inhalers (Beclomethasone Dipropionate) are a steroid inhalant medication used to prevent asthma attacks. Qvar is not a rescue medication. If you are having an asthma attack, use the appropriate fast-acting medication. Qvar Inhalers work directly in the lungs to make breathing easier by reducing the irritation and swelling of the airways.
